Emirates flew its first routes out of Dubai with just two aircraft a leased Boeing 737 and Airbus 300 B4   back in 1985 it has since been characterised by two key features ever since continuous explosive growth and a constant focus on top quality service. Today they fly over 2400 flights per week to 108 destinations in 62 countries. They have 90 Airbus A380’s on order and were the second airline to start flying them. Today they are the worlds largest airline based on scheduled international passenger kilometres flown. In the UK the A380 is used on Heathrow flights and Emirates will start using the A380 out of Manchester from 01/09/2010. For the year ended 31/03/2010 they flew over 27 million passengers. Emirates Airline has won many awards and the entertainment system available to all passengers on Emirates flights is excellent and has won the best inflight entertainment award from Skytrax every year since 2003.Emirates currently operate services to 108 destinations in 62 countries around the world and the network is expanding constantly.
